Enhance your communication skills
Clinical communication is assessed throughout PACES, and this 1-day workshop is specifically designed to support delegates in developing effective communication skills which may be applied in different clinical scenarios.
What will you learn?
By the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
- Communicate with improved clarity, accuracy and impact
- Consider relevant communication models and techniques and apply these to different clinical scenarios and PACES stations
- Reflect on the GMC definition of effective communication skills in relation to your personal skills and identify areas for development
- Identify and apply effective communication strategies to help navigate difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Practise and apply new communication techniques during interactive sessions, facilitated by our experienced medical educationalists.

This event is delivered on regular dates throughout the year. You can join us in-person at the RCP venue in London (RCP Regent’s Park), or Liverpool (RCP at the Spine), or join a virtual classroom session and attend online from the comfort of your own home or office.
