This programme is only available on a commissioned basis.
Please contact us to discuss the RCP delivering this event exclusively for your doctors and healthcare teams, delivered in-person at your workplace, at the RCP sites in London or Liverpool, or in a virtual classroom.
To discuss your specific requirements and how the RCP can work with you, please give us a call on (0)20 3075 1555 or email consultancy@rcp.ac.uk
Further information about commissioned programmes from the RCPOur mentoring skills workshop has been developed to support doctors and allied health professionals who are already in a mentoring position, as well as those preparing to take on such a role.
What will you learn?
By the end of this workshop doctors will be able to:
- identify the role of a mentor
- outline the basic structure of a successful mentoring relationship
- use appropriate techniques, including objective setting and reviewing, to establish and sustain an effective mentoring relationship
- recognise the ethical dilemmas that can arise in mentoring relationships
- reflect on your own personal development needs as a mentor.
